Credentials
Dr. Walter E. Gay, Jr. is a 1972 graduate of Vanderbilt University. He married a Vanderbilt graduate, Sperrie Kalanzis, of Cincinnati. They lived in Germany while he served as a field artillery officer in the United States Army for 5 years. After their return, he graduated from Emory University Dental School in his hometown of Atlanta, Georgia, in 1982. He was selected and completed a postgraduate residency at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio, in General Practice Dentistry.
Dr. and Mrs. Gay then decided to make their home in downtown Cincinnati and selected a location in the historic Gwynne building to begin his practice in 1983.
